Early Life And Education:
Jessica Louise Jonassen was born in Emerald, in the Central Highlands Region of Queensland, but she was raised approximately 270 km far away in the coastal city of Rockhampton. She started high school at Emmaus College, Rockhampton, and graduated in 2009.
When Jess was 10 or 11, she started playing cricket at school and then she palyed for Rockhampton Brothers. She used to play in boys’ teams; at that time, there were no girls-specific cricket teams in rural Queensland.
