Elizabeth was born on February 27, 1932, at Heathwood, North West, England. His father Francis Lenn was an art dealer and her mother Sara Dothern was a retired actress. His parents were originally from Arkansas City, Kansas. They moved to London in 1929 and opened an art gallery on Bond Street.
