In 2022, the parents of slain Indian Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala welcomed the birth of their son. According to Indian TV channel ND TV, Sidhu Moosewala’s 60-year-old father, Balkar Singh, announced his son’s birth on Instagram. He shared a picture on Instagram holding the newborn in his arms, alongside a picture of Sidhu Moosewala. With the support of Sidhu Moosewala’s fans, Sidhu Moosewala’s father joyfully shared the news of his younger brother’s birth. He further stated that both the mother and the baby are in good health. In February, Charm Kaur shared with Tribune India that she is pregnant and has opted to stay at home for the past three to four months while undergoing ‘IVF treatment,’ as Sidhu Moosewala’s fiancee. He was killed on the spot during the incident. Sidhu Moosewala, aged 28, was the only child of his parents.

Indian authorities revealed during their investigations that notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was the mastermind behind Sidhu Moosewala’s murder, while they were also investigating his close associate Goldy Brar, who is based in Canada, in connection with the case. Sidhu, whose real name was Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was one of the most influential, successful, and wealthy Punjabi musicians of his age. Many of Sidhu Moosewala’s songs were chartbusters, and he gained recognition from international artists as well. Sidhu emerged as a prominent political figure and often raised his voice on social and political issues. He faced severe criticism for the explicit depiction of violence and firearms in his songs and music videos. After his murder, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi accepted responsibility for his death.
