Early Life and Education:

Mohsin Dawar was born in Miran Shah Tehsil, Pakistan, November 25, 1984. He is 39 years old.

Mohsin Dawar is a lawyer, author, politician, and brave person. He is a very active Pashtun Tahafuz Movement member who was born in North Waziristan.

Career: 

In the 2018 general election, Mohsin Dawar was chosen as an independent representative for NA-48 Tribal Area-IX in the Pakistan National Assembly. He defeated Aurangzeb Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Mufti Misbahudin of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) with 16,526 votes.

Mohsin Dawar established the National Democratic Movement (NDM) as a political organization on September 1, 2021. According to some commentators, the PTM, a non-parliamentary political movement, would suffer a setback and have its power reduced as a result of the NDM. Mohsin Dawar assured that the NDM would back the PTM, though. “We continued to be a part of the PTM, which is a unified movement.

Mohsin Dawar won a seat in the Pakistan National Assembly as an independent candidate for NA-48 Tribal Area-IX in the general election of 2018. With 16,526 votes, he outperformed Mufti Misbahudin of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) and Aurangzeb Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

On September 1, 2021, Mohsin Dawar founded the National Democratic Movement (NDM) as a political entity. Some pundits claimed that the NDM would cause the PTM, a non-parliamentary political organization, to suffer a defeat and have its power diminished. However, Mohsin Dawar pledged that the NDM would support the PTM. “We kept taking part in the PTM, which is a coordinated movement. 

Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir, a fellow lawmaker and PTM leader, were deplaned from their flight at Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar on November 30, 2018, when they were en route to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to attend a Pashtun cultural festival. Mohsin Dawar and Wazir were detained by the Federal Investigation Agency for three days. Mohsin Dawar called for retaliation against the officers who detained them without first obtaining the Speaker of the National Assembly’s consent.

Following the Kharqamar incident, Mohsin Dawar went into hiding for four days until turning himself into the authorities in Bannu on May 30, 2019. On May 26, the troops in Kharqamar, North Waziristan, had already detained Ali Wazir. Mohsin Dawar and Wazir were released from prison after nearly four months there.

On September 21, 2019, Mohsin Dawar and Wazir were released on bail following over four months in custody. Mohsin Dawar and Wazir were cleared of all charges on October 14, 2020, when the government dismissed the Kharqamar case against PAYTM.

MNA Mohsin Dawar launches political party: 

The National Democratic Movement (NDM), is a new political organization led by Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) member Mohsin Dawar.

Mohsin Dawar served as the organization’s chief organizer, Muzzamil Shah served as general secretary, Jamila Gilani served as information secretary, and Abdullah Bhittani served as joint secretary. At a news conference where the announcement was made, former senator Afrasiab Khattak, a former member of the national assembly Bushra Gohar, and others were present.

The NDM leaders committed to work for provincial autonomy, parliamentary supremacy, young involvement in national affairs, a decrease in non-development spending, and more funding for human development, education, and healthcare.

Ignorance of Moshin Dawar:

At times MNA Mohsin Dawar’s participation in the PPP-hosted All Parties Conference held in Islamabad raised questions for all parties. As a result, Mr. Mohsin Dawar was invited to share the stage with other politicians by PPP’s Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari. 

The PDM’s survival will be determined by the Quetta rally. The JUI-F and the PkMAP made the decision to move the rally to October 18. JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PML-N’s Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Balochistan National Party’s Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Dr. Abdul Malik, and Mehmood Khan Achakzai will all speak at the PDM public rally, according to JUI-F senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri. Among the possible speakers, he did not mention Mohsin Dawar.

The Federal Minister’s decision to give the electrical concerns of the Merged Districts first consideration was praised by the lawmakers. They agreed in principle to gradually roll out electricity metering for consumers in these locations. The lawmakers also discussed electricity-related challenges unique to their own regions. They also made suggestions for enhancing the current system. Sajid Hussain Turi, Mohsin Dawar, Gul Zafar Khan, Gul Dad Khan, Munir Khan Orakzai, Ali Wazir, Muhammad Iqbal Khan, and Abdul Shakoor were among the parliamentarians present at the meeting.

Arrested in North Waziristan is MNA Mohsin Dawar:

Informed sources claim that Mohsin Dawar turned himself in to the police and was then brought before a Bannu anti-terrorism court for physical remand.

The investigating officer from the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), Bannu, asked the judge to order the politician held in police detention for 30 days. Dawar was instead remanded in police custody for eight days by special ATC judge Babar Ali Khan after reviewing the file.

The lawmakers and seven other people have been named in a FIR; they are accused of violating the Pakistan Penal Code sections 120b (criminal conspiracy), 109 (abetment to an offence), 302 (murder), 324 (attempt to murder), 353, and 120b (assault or criminal force to prevent a public servant from performing his duty).

The FIR stated that armed followers of Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar attacked the security station and started shooting after the protestors threw stones at the army post.
