Sharmila Farooqi is a young and hearty Pakistani leader who guides the Pakistan Peoples Party because she began government in the early 2000s. She was an adviser to the Chief Minister of Sindh from September 2008 till January 31, 2011. Born into a government, she’s a Pakistan People’s Party supporter. Early life & Education:

Sharmila Farooqi born July 25, 1975, is a Pakistani leader from Karachi, owned by the Pakistan Peoples Party. She joined the government in 2008 and was chosen as an advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh. Sharmila Farooqi obtained her Master of Business Administration from the Adamson Institute of Business Administration and Technology, Karachi and a Master of Laws degree.

Family: 

Sharmila Faruqui is the daughter of Usman Farooqi, who served as an administrator and a former Chairman of the Pakistan Steel Mill, and the maternal granddaughter of N M Uqaili (full name: Nabi Mohammad Uqaili), a former Pakistani Minister of Finance. Salman Faruqui, a friend of former president Asif Ali Zardari, and Usman Farooqui were both nominated to lead the Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM), and both are related to Sharmila Faruqui.

Anisa Farooqi, Sharmila Farooqi’s mother, is a stunning and vivacious woman who is usually spotted at events for extreme roles and fashion.

On October 12, 2021, Muhammad Usman Farooqui, Sharmila Faruqui’s father, passed away in Karachi. 

Sharmila posted a tear-jerking snapshot on Twitter. ” Together forever,  Papa.. your essence will beat with mine,” she penned.

After Asr’s prayer, his cremation prayers will be heard at Rahmania Mosque on Tariq Road.

Sharmila posted yet another kind greeting on Instagram. “You instructed me to expect bravery, you instructed me to keep the stiffest of periods, you instructed me to chase my dreams… you’ve happened my parents and father two together,” she typed alongside the still image.

“You always had my support and my assistance,” Sharmila continued. You may have given up on the subject, but you are still devotedly following me, keeping an eye out for me, and guiding me for all time. I appreciate that you have given me your entire growth. I wish I could give you my confidence and my rest, I hope… Papa and I will be together forever.

Married Life:

Hasham Riaz Sheikh and Sharmila Faruqui got married in 2015. He served as President Asif Ali Zardari’s immediate guide and was a former Wall Street investment banker. Hussain is a cute child of theirs. Hasham Riaz Sheikh, Sharmila Farooqi’s husband, is a sizable professional worker. Together, they manage a variety of businesses across the globe. One of the members of the world’s richest community is Sharmila’s partner. Therefore, crores of rupees ended even after their ten-epoch marriage. 25 July 2022 Following a brief amount of uninterrupted time for Hajj, Sharmila Faruqui, the head of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), is currently continuing her vacation in the Maldives.

Career:

As an Actress: 

From Karachi, Sindh, Sharmila Farooqi is one of Pakistan’s most prominent and attractive female politicians. She began her career in showbiz before transitioning towards politics. In the drama series Panchwa Mausam, she had an appearance. Ijaz Aslam, Tallat Hussain, and Gulab Chandio were just a few of the prominent actors she appeared alongside in her drama.

Politics:

Before beginning her career in politics, Sharmila Farooqi was a very active member of a group and a worker for the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). She started her political education in 2005. Sharmila served as an adviser to Sindh’s Chief Minister after being selected by PPP for a restricted position for women. Over the course of just over 8 years, she has served as the chief minister of Sindh’s advisor. She participates in the majority of political talk shows because she is a highly upbeat individual and the face of PPP on television. She speaks well to keep her body in shape and elicit support from others in the event of criminal accusations. Usman and Sharmila Farooqi were imprisoned for a Rs 195 billion fraud in 2001. They were both investigated through the NAB court.

As an Advisor:

Five advisers were limited in number in February of last year following a legal challenge to the appointment of 17 advisers. Along with Sharmila Farooqi, the CM fired 12 advisors. In order to accommodate a handful of them, new postings were afterwards made. 

In addition to being named coordinators and special assistants, Rashid Rabbani, Waqar Mehdi, and Siddique Abu Bhai were working as advisers. Before becoming a senior special assistant on political affairs, Rabbani served as a political affairs adviser. The names of these individuals are reportedly Sharmila Farooqi, Imamuddin Shoqeen Mines and minerals), Imtiaz Shaikh (special education), Syed Aijaz Ali Shah Shirazi (rural development), Haleem Adil Sheikh (relief), and Khawaja Izhar-ul Hassan. 

A coordinator and a special assistant for the press and media, respectively, have been named in Siddique Abu Bhai and Waqar Mehdi. The number of special helpers has increased to 15 in the meantime. They are granted the same benefits as advisors. For the complaint cell, Imtiaz Ahmed Mallah has been promoted to special assistant. Aside from Shamshad Qureshi, other special assistants include Ismail Dahiri, Salman Abdullah Murad, Noor Jehan Baloch, Pehlaj Mal Nihlani, Ghulam Haider Rahu, Agha A Khan, Anwar Lal Dinn, Pervaiz Ahmed Ansari, Muhammad Ameen, Khadim Hussain, and Noor Hussain. Nobody, however, is aware of their positions or responsibilities.

As an MPA:

She formerly served in the Sindh Provincial Assembly from 2013 to 2018, was re-elected in the 2018 Pakistani general elections, and subsequently joined the body in February 2020.

Corruption:

By using political corruption and fraud, Faruqui and her father Usman Faruqui, a former chairman of Pakistan Steel Mills, stole $1.95 billion from Pakistan Steel Mills and the Pakistani government in 2001. Anisa Faruqui, the mother of Sharmila, entered into a plea agreement with the National Accountability Bureau on April 28, 2001, following her arrest under First Information Report (FIR) No. 19/96 and placement in the care of the Ehtesab Cell by Special Judge Central II, who handles cases involving high-ranking corrupt public officials like Usman Faruqui. Due to the non-payment of energy bills totalling Rs 1 million, Sharmila Faruqui and her family were the subjects of an intensive investigation by agents from the National Accountability Bureau, the Federal Investigation Agency, and the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation.

Criticism:

On October 18, during the PPP’s Jalsa, the leader of the party was publicly revealed. Sharmila Farooqi, who condemned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for staging a dance and concert during their Dharna, did the same before visiting the PPP’s Jalsa in Karachi. Many of the women who came to the dance party that Sharmila Farooqi hosted at her house before she left for Jalsa were also there. Sharmila Farooqi and her companions performed a dance in front of everyone while sporting the PPP flag painted on their faces and Mehndi decorations on their hands. Sharmila Farooqi failed to uphold her dignity by performing in the same manner as PTI, which the PPP used to attack since they thought PTI’s dance in Dharna was filthy.

Controversy:

According to media reports, Sharmila Farooqi was one of the 12 candidates who passed the exam, the results for which Karachi University announced on its official website on May 17, 2018. Sharmila has been accused of passing the required entry test for admission to PhD (Law) at the University of Karachi without showing up for the exam, which was held on May 13, 2018.

Sharmila Farooqi lashes out at Nadia Khan: 

The mother of Sharmila Farooqi appeared in a viral video with Nadia Khan.

By chance, Nadia Khan arrived at the gathering where Anisa Farooqi was also in attendance wearing slightly excessive party makeup. Being the outgoing individual and careful cosmetics expert that Nadia Khan has become, she did not hesitate to approach Sharmila Farooqi’s mother and inquire about her full makeover.

In a video that Nadia Khan posted, she can be seen asking Anisa Farooqi about the cosmetic artist who did her makeup. She also asked Anisa who instructed her to apply makeup if she did it herself.

In response to Nadia Khan’s treatment of her mother Anisa Faruqui questioning her makeover, the MP sued Nadia Khan for defamation for Rs 50 million. a few days before the Nida Khan star is exonerated by the FIA.
