Frances Ethel Gumm was born on June 10th of 1922 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, United States. Her parents Ethel Marion and Frances Avent Gumm Vaudevillians and they run a movie theater. She was called a baby by her parents and sisters. In 1962, her family moved to Lancaster, California. There it was discovered that his father was homosexual. Frank bought and operated another theater in Lancaster and Ethel helped her daughter to get roles in motion pictures.
Education:
In 1928, Judy along with her sisters enrolled in a dance school that Ethel Meglin ran. They appeared with their group in the annual Christmas show.

Judy Garland married five times throughout her life. Judy began her first relationship with David Rose in the early 1940s, and David gifted her an engagement ring on her 18th birthday.
