Marlon Brando Jr. is considered one of the most influential actors of the 20th century. He was an American actor and social activist. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 3, 1924.  His father Marlon Brando Sr. was a calcium carbonate salesman and her mother was Dorothy Julia Pennebaker. When Brando was four, he was sexually assaulted by her teenage governess.

Early Life & Education:

His parents separated in 1935 when he was 11. His mother took him to Santa Ana, California. His parent reunited in 1937 and they moved together to a farm in Libertyville, Illinois. He worked as an usher in the film theater, The Liberty.

Brando was expelled from Libertyville High School. He was then sent to Shattuck Military Academy in  Minnesota. He excelled in his theater skills and performed well in his school. In his final year, he was again expelled from school as he was being insubordinate to a visiting army colonel. He then worked as a ditch digger as a summer job. He tried to go into the Army but was rejected due to a foot injury he had sustained in Shattuck while playing football.
