We should mention that the leadership of the PML-N has intensified its efforts to win the impending by-elections in Punjab.

Asserting her party’s win in the by-elections and promising the populace speedy assistance after difficult decisions for the revival of the economy, the party’s vice president, Maryam Nawaz, has been speaking at public rallies in various cities throughout Punjab.

Recently, Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the party, also commanded the PML-led government in the centre to declare a reduction in gasoline prices of at least Rs15 per litre to give the nation’s inflation-stricken citizens urgent respite.

Before the Secretariat police station in Islamabad, they have filed the case. The incident surfaced a day after something allegedly attacked Mohsin Nawaz Ranjha outside the federal capital office of the Election Commission of Pakistan. PTI employees demonstrated in opposition to the election commission’s decision in front of the ECP office. The PTI chairman in the Toshakhana case was disqualified by the order. In addition, the ECP declared Khan to no longer be a National Assembly member.

In a criminal case including a reference to Toshakhana, a district and sessions court in Islamabad issued a non-bailable arrest order for Khan earlier in the day. The PTI leader did not appear in court for the verdict announcement, which was made by additional sessions judge Zafar Iqbal.

The former prime minister went before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) and a financial court earlier today, and both of them granted him temporary bail.

Speaking to a private news station, former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif claimed that he and his party had fought for the restoration of the judiciary under the previous administration of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

The minister claimed that despite having misgivings, the PML-N government had not followed a strategy of confrontation because it had carried out the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif. According to him, the Panama Papers case has not proven any allegations of corruption against Nawaz Sharif.

He continued by saying that Nawaz Sharif was still the nation’s most beloved leader.
